The Pack is forming

After a month, the pack is coming along nicely. Bear & Tiki are side by side on several hikes, and then Baci will switch places to be by her side. Tiki loves the chase game, but sometimes I step in as the puppies are ganging up on her, they are herders. But everyone looks like they're having fun, and no one has any wounds to show otherwise. Baci is slowly becoming less of a poop eater, something I'm happy for -- it's just so gross when puppies have poop breath!

For some reason this blogging software crashes when ever I try to post more than three pictures at a time -- definitely needs some quality assurance testing.

Sunday Morning Sharing the Bone

Everyone is getting along splendidly as I sip my morning coffee and finish breakfast. Tiki is sharing her bone with the pups after a minor discussion about who's bone it really is.

Back Online!

After our cable being offline for a couple days, I'm back with more pictures from Tuesday. It's pretty crazy the weather change you'll see - sunny in the morning with dark skies rolling in for the afternoon. We just made it into the car before the rains arrived!

Tuesday Sniffing & Diggin

This morning the pups & I were up early as I had a 7:30AM meeting -- check out the cool fog!

After my meeting, we all headed out for a good, long walk and then home for some breakfast.

Everyone diggin! I have no idea what they were diggin for, but I'll be uploading the video to Facebook in a few. It was pretty funny with all the sniffing and diggin!

Sunday Morning in the Mist

No snow in Boulder, but it was a bit chilly out. The pups enjoyed a late morning hike as I slept in, catching up on some much needed sleep after relatives headed back to NY.

Tiki & Bear side by side, joined by Baci for a group shot below. Talisker feeling much better, running, playing & barking; finally eating some on his own. Tiki is the Alpha, guiding and teaching the pups; along with protecting them when new dogs come around and putting them in their place when needed. The pups no longer cower in fear when meeting new dogs, joining Tiki in appropriate butt sniffing canine greeting fashion. Tiki is a great teacher!

Now to catch up on my work and prepare for the weeks events.

The pack is forming, Tiki & Bear are becoming friends, playing tug while Baci & Talisker bark in the background. The game of chase is on, with everyone aiming for Tiki & the pink squeaky toy!

Then on to lessons on how to dig, Tiki showing exactly how deep one needs to go to find the scent! And, finally a group shot with almost everyone looking at the camera.
