Their New Home

After a weekend of crazies, no sleep, cleaning up pee and poop, dogs learning to get along, dogs learning who is the leader of the pack, and finally puppies learning not to bite the hand that feeds them; the pack is turning into a family.

Today is the first day Tiki & Bear had a good round of tug! i am confident they'll be good friends.

Looking Back on Thursday, Sept. 25th

Who knew that morning when I awoke what changes the day would hold! Heading out to a Broadway Animal Hospital staff meeting after catching up on paperwork and taking Tiki & Talisker out for a morning walk, the day started casually.

While in the staff meeting John Pannabaker called, leaving a message and continuing our telephone tag of the week. He had two Aussie puppies that I was going to take a look at and we'd been missing each other to schedule this. Finally, the day arrived, the message he left was that he was going to take them to the Humane Society if I wasn't interested.

Having no idea who had left messages, just that my phone was beeping when I got into the car; as soon I heard his message, I immediately called him, got him live, got directions and headed up to the mountains.

Thus, the beginning of The Pack.
