Amazing how quickly they grow! The first picture was taken Sept. 27 when they were around 13 weeks old; the second picture is from Dec. 2, where they are now almost 6 months old. My oh my how they grew!

As Bear broke her toe two days ago playing at Coot Lake (she fell in the farmers ditch); I had her in for X-Rays and she weighed in at 30 pounds! She's more than half Tiki's weight already!

The pups and I have been enjoying todays snowfall, heading out early this morning before other footsteps had formed on the trails at the Boulder Rez. They had a great time playing, and are now sleeping it off after a good morning breakfast.

Election Day

Today is Election Day, and for the pups & Tiki, Injection Day! Everyone except Talisker received their booster shots today at Broadway Animal Hospital; and they all received several treats and lots of attention to make the ordeal fun! Then, we headed over to S. Mesa for a romp in Boulder Creek and surrounding area. Now, all happily sleeping.

The Pack is forming

After a month, the pack is coming along nicely. Bear & Tiki are side by side on several hikes, and then Baci will switch places to be by her side. Tiki loves the chase game, but sometimes I step in as the puppies are ganging up on her, they are herders. But everyone looks like they're having fun, and no one has any wounds to show otherwise. Baci is slowly becoming less of a poop eater, something I'm happy for -- it's just so gross when puppies have poop breath!

Sunday Morning Sharing the Bone

Everyone is getting along splendidly as I sip my morning coffee and finish breakfast. Tiki is sharing her bone with the pups after a minor discussion about who's bone it really is.

After our cable being offline for a couple days, I'm back with more pictures from Tuesday. It's pretty crazy the weather change you'll see - sunny in the morning with dark skies rolling in for the afternoon. We just made it into the car before the rains arrived!
